About the event
Skills We’ll Focus On: We will emphasize several key skills, starting with homework completion, ensuring that assignments are finished on time. Additionally, we will address organization and time management by assisting children in managing their materials and scheduling their time effectively. Maintaining focus and sustained attention is crucial, so we will explore methods to help children concentrate on their tasks. We will also work on task initiation and follow-through, motivating children to start tasks promptly and complete them. Developing the ability to follow schedules and routines is essential, and we will aim to establish a consistent daily routine. Furthermore, we will encourage independent work habits, fostering self-reliance in task completion. Teaching children how to ask for help appropriately is another important aspect, as is providing them with coping strategies for challenging work, which includes techniques for managing difficult assignments. Lastly, we will focus on enhancing executive functioning and study skills.
