Relaxation & Self-Regulation Training
Anxiety can be especially for children. At AIM we work towards equipping them with techniques proven to lowering levels of anxiety. These techniques are practiced with the children until they become second nature and their implementation is self automated. We currently train the children in breathing exercises, both motor and breathing yoga. A children's pattern of anxiety is tracked and customized techniques are established.
Speech Language Therapy
We collaborate with the best Speech Language Pathologists in the field to provide a wholesome intervention. Speech Language Therapy targets unclear speech as well as language difficulties.
Creative Art Therapies
Aimas is proud to be the first ASD services provider in the region to offer creative art therapies. We currently offer Music and Art therapy. These programs support the developmental, social, and expressive needs of children. These interventions are based on the belief that the creative process involved in artistic self-expression helps children with autism develop interpersonal skills, manage behavior, reduce stress, increase self-esteem and self-awareness, and achieve insight.
Social Skills Development
Impairment in social interactions is almost a hallmark of Autism. At AIMS we implement a multidisciplinary approach to tackling this. Structured activities are provided for children to engage with peers. We conduct joint sessions in groups of two or three. These social sessions are organized by following the children's lead. We engage together in activities that they like. This creates a basis for positive practice.

Applied Behaviour Analysis is widely accepted to be the most effective evidence-based therapeutic approach developed to date for children with autism. The structured teaching of functional skills (often called behavioral intervention) presently has the largest body of published research supporting its effectiveness. ABA is the process of systematically applying interventions based upon the principles of learning theory to improve socially significant behaviors to a meaningful degree.
